About the desk

Last updated July 2026

Cryptomining Journal is an independent research desk covering the venues where people actually trade crypto: centralized exchanges, retail brokers, derivatives platforms and on-chain protocols. Our team of former traders, quants and financial journalists has been publishing reviews continuously since 2018.

How we work

Every review is built from hands-on testing against a public rubric. We open accounts with our own funds, run real trades, monitor withdrawals through volatility windows, and stress support channels the way any customer would. Findings are checked against public filings, regulatory registers and on-chain data before publication.

Independence

We do not accept payment for placement, and no broker can buy a rating. Some pages carry affiliate links that generate revenue when readers open an account — those links never influence scoring, and we disclose them clearly wherever they appear.
